Innovation week: “Smart City” day

The State Minister for Innovation and Public Administration, in partnership with DLDP has organized the “Smart City day” activities, which was organized in the Municipality of Lezhë and Commune of Kallmet, on May 16th, 2015, as part of Innovation week programme.

Innovation Week has launched a number of activities that have promoted information society and innovative projects with a direct impact on communication and public services improvement for citizens. Part of these activities is also the local government, which will experience the challenge of public service delivery for a new administrative territory, a reality that will require the use of ICT for the administration and development of local government.

 

The “Smart City day” aimed to introduce the model of Integrated System of One-Stop-Shop for local government, which is implemented by Decentralization and Local Development Programme (DLDP), in partnership with Municipality of Lezha and Commune of Kallmet. 

This event had the attention and presence of Minister for Innovation and Public Administration, Mrs Milena Harito, Minister for Local Issues, MrBlediÇuçi, the Ambassador of Embassy of Switzerland, MrChristoph Graf, the Mayors of Lezha and Kallmet, deputies of Lezha, representatives of other central institutions and donors interested in this project.
