dldp Coordination Committee meeting takes place

Decentralization and Local Development Programme (dldp) organized in the last days of April its Coordination Committee meeting. This meeting was attended by Mayors and technical staff from the 12 partner LGUs in the fields of strategic planning and financial management, waste management, information and communication and project cycle management. Commune of Kallmet welcomed the meeting. Among the main issues discussed in this meeting were presentation and discussion of implemented activities and dldp approach for the future activities of 2012. Cooperation modalities with LGUs and qarks, through the signing of Memorandums of Understanding, were discussed with the participants. Part of the meeting agenda was the signing ceremony of the agreements dldp-LGU for 10 co-financed projects in the frame of dldp grant fund. This meeting besides local authorities from partner communes and municipalities was attended as well by representatives from Swiss Cooperation Office in Albania (SCO-A) and qarks of Shkodra and Lezha.
