Strategic planning and Mid-term Budget at local level, Perspective for harmonisation with national level

dldp organised the workshop “Strategic Planning and Mid-term Budget at local level, the perspective for harmonisation with national level” at Rogner Hotel, Tirane. The objective of this workshop was the exchange of ideas on the support package of dldp in the field of strategic planning and mid-term budget, as well the creation of synergies for further support improvement, looking at it from the national perspective.

There participated the Deputy Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Albania Mrs. Anne Savary, the Deputy Minister of Interior, Mr. Ferdinand Poni, experts of the Ministry of Interior and of the Ministry of Finance, representatives of civil society and independent experts of public finances, representatives of communes and municipalities who currently work with dldp on issues of long term strategic planning and mid-term financial planning.

The expert of the University of Lucern Mr. Stephan Pfaeffli, the expert from the Institute of Contemporary Studies, Mrs. Sabina Ymeri, the expert of Co-plan, Mrs Anila Gjika and Mrs. Voltana Ademi from dldp contributed with their presentations to this workshop.

The participants who took the floor evaluated this commitment of dldp and the contribution that this program is giving to the national dialogue on the improvement of public money administration, as well the harmonisation of local priorities with those national.

The Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Finance expressed the institutional commitment to support such initiatives as this one of dldp.
