Training of experts group on strategic planning

The second training on strategic planning with the experts group from selected LGU-s from the Qarks of Shkodra and Lezha was held on 16 March 2011.

The training on “Steps on compilation of Strategic Development Planning: Process structuring, information collection and SWOT analysis aimed at:
Consolidation of knowledge and practice on important steps in the preparation of local development strategy;
Identification and understanding of form and process of compilation of development strategy at local level;
Identification and understanding the importance of information collection, the way of data processing, use of information and the roles of different actors during this process;
Understanding and practical application of key aspects of the analysis of the situation;
Understanding and capacity building on carrying out the SWOT analysis, taking into consideration issues of policy/politics, economy, environment, infrastructure and services, social cohesion aspects, institutional implications related to local development, as well as fields of relevant service provision.
