Memorandums of Understanding in financial and waste management signed

Financial management and waste management were the next areas where DLDP has signed memorandums of understanding (MoU) with LGUs that will benefit directly or indirectly from the partnerships with DLDP.

The proposed LGUs’ list to start a partnership in this area is consulted with technical experts of the respective areas from Shkodra and Lezha qarks, as well as Associations of Municipalities and Communes of Albania.

The selection scheme of partners is based on performance criteria (measured through a baseline survey and best practices competition) and LGUs motivation (measured by the best practices competition and Letters of Interest addressed to the program).

Identification of partners will be completed by the end of February 2011.
